It's not in there!: Big Lessons from my Little People #2

Getting ready for church and looking for a shoe, my six year old is frustrated.  She has looked "everywhere!" and cannot find it.  She says a prayer for help to find the shoe, and my next thought is to look in the bin of barbie dolls and clothes.
"It's not in there!" she insists.

"Just come look,"  I prod.

She kneels next to the bin and begins looking through.  She does not believe the shoe is there.  She only looks out of obedience.  As she moves the contents of the bin, I see her entire shoe appear in plain sight on the top of the stuff.  She did not even see it!  She kept moving the clothes and barbies.  As I had her go back and find the shoe, I learned a great lesson...

If you don't believe, you may not see it...Even if it is in plain sight!  It could be physical objects, but can be so much more significant than that.

Am I acting in obedience, but missing the blessings because I don't really believe?  How many opportunities fly right past me, because I don't believe they will be there?  Am I missing inspiration, because I don't believe?  What else could I be missing?

BELIEVE!!!
